This means you can always access your songs and ringtones even if you delete them from your mobile or PC. Plus, you don’t need to worry about storage space- we look after them all for you at no extra cost!

Easy payment process
To pay for songs and ringtones, credit comes straight off your Vodafone phone account or Prepay balance. This means you don’t have any credit card bills or security hassles to worry about.

A massive music selection
With over 500,000 songs to choose from you’ve got access to a huge range of music. From alternative to mainstream, from right out there sounds to right up there chart hits, whatever you like, we’ll have it instore.

Save heaps on buying your music
While being able to buy songs from the Vodafone Music Store is a brilliant and cost-effective way to expand your library, if you buy the whole album, then the songs work out even cheaper. Yes that's right, buy by the album and not by the song, and the songs cost even less! Not only are you rapidly broadening your musical horizons, you’re saving money on the songs as well. Genius...

Getting started

The Vodafone Music Store gives you access to the latest and hottest songs and ringtones from a library of over 500,000 songs.
What’s brilliant is that when you buy songs from the Vodafone Music Store you get two versions. One version is for you to save and play on your mobile*; the other you can download to your PC to play using Windows Media Player. If you only want to play music on either your mobile or your PC, you can still use the Vodafone Music Store - the choice is totally yours.

You’ll find, though, that to really take advantage of all the great stuff the Vodafone Music Store has on offer, you’ll want to use both devices and really maximise your listening pleasure.

To get going in the Vodafone Music Store you’ll need to make a couple of things happen:

  1. Register for My Vodafone
You need to be a Vodafone customer with a My Vodafone login to use the Vodafone Music Store. Click here to register for My Vodafone.
  2. Set up your mobile
We’ll need to check what type of mobile* you have to make sure you can play music from Vodafone Music Store on it. So make sure you’ve got your phone with you and that it’s switched on. When you first buy something, we’ll be sending you a test message…
  3. Set up your PC
You’ll also need to have Windows Media Player 9 or better installed to listen to the music. In order to download and play music on your PC you’ll need to meet the system requirements. These are:
    • Windows 2000 or later
    • Internet Explorer 6
    • Windows Media Player 9 (or above)

We’ll test your system and tell you if you meet these requirements. But if you know you need to install the software then it’s probably a good idea to do it now because once it’s installed, you’ll need to restart your computer anyway.
Once we’ve done that - and it doesn’t take very long - you’ll be good to go to the Vodafone Music Store and be able to start building your library.

* To download full music tracks to your mobile you must have a 3G capable handset and be in a 3G coverage area. 3G in selected metro areas. See vodafone.com.au/coverage for details.
