A countrywide search began and the inevitable process of elimination ensued - Danity Kane are the result.

The name Danity Kane was taken from an animated female superhero, a product of Dawn's imagination.

Diddy signed the five to Bad Boy records where their professional career began. Racking up platinum sales in the three years since, the girls have busted out two hit singles from their second album, this year's WELCOME TO THE DOLLHOUSE.

The recent singles BAD GIRL featuring MISSY ELLIOTT and DAMAGED have been doing the rounds globally, and the latter is now #25 in the Aussie physical sales chart, a feat achieved with little promotion.
